How to: cut, connect and power RGB LED strip lights
What you will need:- LED strip lights
- End cap
- LED strip connector
- Mounting clips
- LED driver or standard power supply
- Wireless remote
- Nails
- Hammer
Step 1: Location
Determine your location - our strip light will be installed on a TV cabinet.
Step 2: Position
Position your led strip where you desire, and place your first mounting clip underneath the strip, and insert the nails on either side. Do this every 300m.
Step 3: Plug-in
Attach the connector to the power supply, plug in, and switch on!

*If you purchase strip lights that are only available in 5m, 10m etc, but you only need 1 or 2 metres, these can be cut to size, either on the line indicated, or where you see the gap.
In addition, you will need: scissors
Step 1: Cut the led strip
Cut the led strip, either on the line indicated, or where you see the gap. There is a gap every metre.

Step 2: Insert the connector
Pierce the sharp side of the connector into the metal wire of the strip light.


Step 3: End cap
Attach the end cap to the other side of the LED strip light.
Step 4: Install the strip light
Position your led strip where you desire, and place your first mounting clip underneath the strip, and insert the nails on either side. Do this every 300m.

Step 5: Plug-in
Connect the power supply to the connector. Make sure it is a tight fit and secure all connections before switching on. Plug in, and switch on.
