QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • can you run for example your tv through the Felxopower plugged in the wall socket ? so when loadshedding kicks in the tv will automatically stay on running then soley on the flexopower ?

By all means, as long as your TV uses less than 400W. Almost all TVs don't use that much.

  • I have a 60watt fridge how many days would this be a able to have the camping fridge going before recharging is required

    Hi,
The Flexopower 444 has a capacity of 444Wh => 444 / 60 = 7.4 hours of operations only for a 60W fridge if the fridge compressor is running 100% of the time (it is not). In real life, it will work well if the Flexopower 444 is connected to a solar panel (120W max) that is well exposed to the sun. The panel will recharge the Flexopower battery every day.

  • Can it run a CPAP machine for one night .? Or is it just 1 hour and a couple of minutes

    Hi,
It probably can run a standard CPAP machine for about 6 to 8 hours: check the rated power (W) of your CPAP machine and compare to the 444Wh capacity of the Flexopower unit?
Example with a 50W CPAP machine:
    - CPAP rated power of 50W
    - 444Wh divided by 50W = 8.88 hours
=> take a safety margin (power lost in cables, etc) => about 8 hours, if the battery of the Flexopower is fully charged at the beginning

  • Since the product comes with a solar cable and connector, do you sell any solar panels that are compatible?

  • If you are running the full 400W how many hours would one charge last?

Hi, 1 hour and a handful of minutes (444Wh divided by 400W = 1.1 hour, or 1 hour and 6 minutes).

  • Good morning! Are you also distributors of portable solar panels? Regards Rinelder

    Hi,
Yes we are. see the Flexopower range of accessories (including portable/flexible solar panels)

  • Is it easy to connect flexo power by myself?

    Hi,
The unit is very easy to use: you connect the charging cable to your wall plug, and you connect loads cables to the Flexopower. Note that you cannot cannot it to the electrical distribution board of your house: the Flexopower is designed to be used as a standalone power unit.

  • Does flexo power use fuel or battery, if it uses battery, what type of battery does it uses

    Hi,
The Flexopower unit contains lithium batteries: those batteries are charged from your wall plug (or from a solar panel).

  • Does flexo power makes noise?

  • Good day, how do i charge this power pack if i dont have a solar system, can i use charge it using electricity and then it becomes a plug and play once it is charged. Does this price you have listed above come with everything i will need to use it, excluding extension cord for instance. Are the sockets where i could plug the fridge in. Thanks

    Dear valued customer,

This unit can be charged via your 220VAC mains or by solar power. And the output sockets are where you can plug in your fridge for use.
This unit does not come with an extension cord.

  • Will the flexo power lithium 444 run my 55 inch smart tv, dstv explorer and bar fridge simultaneous during loadshdding.
